The titles cliché, I know. Hold on though, it may seem cliché but it has a whole lotta truth to it. I don't know what everyones big hang up on the perfect body is. There's no perfect body!! Each and every body is unique and imperfect. I'm quite frankly so fed up with the way society idolizes certain body types and portrays them to be the only "admirable" or "sufficient" body. There's a whole lot of body shaming going down in today's society and I AM OVER IT. I am sick of girls, boys, women, men, yada, yada, yada, looking at someone and wishing they were anyone but themselves. It makes me go CRAZY. It is so incredibly sad.
"She's too skinny"
"She's too muscular"
"He's fat"
"She needs to eat a burger"
"He looks like he's on steroids"
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!!!!!!
Do you wanna know something? YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL JUST THE WAY YOU ARE. Your body is a very small part of you. It does not define you. It should never control you or make you feel poorly about yourself. Your body does so many amazing things and you're going to sit there and critique the shit out of it 24/7??? WHY? FOR WHAT? Please inform me. It's such a silly concept when you think about it. It's silly that you shame it and pick it a part when it is the control center of everything you do.
Your legs? They help you walk from point a to point b. They allow you to run when you're running late. They give you the power and strength to hike that mountain.
Your hips? They will one day allow you to carry your child on them. They allow your body to rotate so you can move. They allow you to shake those hips because "your hips don't lie" @shakira !! LOL I know, I'm not funny, but I will continue to try.
Your stomach? That "normal" body fat you hate so much and want to trade in for shredded abs, it protects your internal organs. It's also going to allow you to grow another human being inside of you someday and that is amazing (if you are female & can/want to to have children).
Your face? BEAUTIFUL. I don't need to see you to know that. You are beautiful in your own unique way (even with that extra acne you hate so much).
Stop wishing you were anyone other than yourself. Stop shaming other body types because you never know what that person or that body has been through. Focus on you and bettering yourself. Stop worrying about what he/she is doing or what he/she looks like. There's nothing positive or productive about that.
It's 100% okay to want to change your body and it's 100% okay to want to reach a certain goal, but ONLY if it's for the RIGHT reasons. It shouldn't be because you hate that little extra fat and want six pack abs to look like that model on that magazine (that could very well be photoshopped). You shouldn't want to wear makeup just to hide your natural features because you hate them, but you should wear it because you enjoy it, because its fun, and because you like the way it makes you feel (but also love & accept who you are without it).
You don't have to change for anyone. All of the changes you want to make should be for YOU. They should better you and positively serve you. They should be healthy choices.
Let me also throw out the fact that genetics can play a huge role in who you are and what you look like. I'm not saying genetics are the sole reason you look the way you do because they're obviously not. However, they do play a large role in your overall genetic makeup. This meaning, they can contribute to why you may have a certain body-type, why you may store fat in some areas more than others, your general features, etc. My entire family has legs for days. They have fast metabolisms. They have very "boxy" athletic style builds. As do I!! I could be at the lowest possible body fat percentage and still not have extremely visible abs, but yah girls obliques stay POPPIN'. It's just how I am built and I am a-okay with that. You should be too. I hold more fat in my lower stomach, big whooopp!!!
Stop hating the things that make you, YOU. Stop picking them apart. Start owning them. Start embracing them. Start cherishing them.
Lets be honest, you would probably never pick those minuscule "flaws" (those are in quotations b/c you see them as flaws even though they're what makes you, YOU & what makes you beauutiifffullll) out on anyone else. If you are picking apart someone else, FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR TIME. Nuff said.
Look at yourself every day and say DANG I am a hot tamale. LOL, JK (but not really). All I'm saying is work on embracing who you are and loving yourself for who you are and all that you have to offer. Understand that your body is not all of you, nor will it ever define you. Learn to love and accept all of things that make you the beautiful and imperfect human you are (because no one is perfect). Acne, cellulite, scars, extra body fat, disproportion’s, etc., they do not define you. They do not make you any less beautiful. You define yourself through your actions, personality, mentality, contributions, etc. Once again, your physical appearance is just a small part of what makes you, you.

Everybody has some tummy rolls. It doesn't matter how big or small. Love the skin you are in. Treat your body with kindness and compassion for it carries you through all of life's opportunities and adventures. Be proud to have a body that keeps you happy, healthy, & alive to see this world and experience all of its beauty. Your body is your forever home.
HASHTAG THAT ISH !! YOU DESERVE TO OWN YOUR INDIVIDUAL BEAUTY & LOVE YOURSELF EVERY DAMN DAY SWEET FRIEND <3.
ILY SO YOU SHOULD LOVE YOU TOO!
