HAPPY OCTOBER - I'm Back!!!! :)

Hi Friends!!

It has been FOREVER since my last blog post. But, happy October, happy Fall, happy Wednesday :). I’m just so happy to be writing this post right now I could scream, (literally).

I had the intentions of being much more consistent with my posting and content on here, but the end of the summer/beginning of the school year were absolute chaos. My apologizes for being so MIA, but life happens and sometimes yah gotta roll with it, am I right? I’m back now & that’s all that really matters.

I figured this post would be sort of an informative thing where I can update y’all on where I’m at, my goals, plans, struggles; blah, blah, blah, you get the gist. Basically I’ll just throw you a life update in the briefest way possible (anyone that has been following me for a while now knows I ramble), whoops.

Where I am at currently:

Fitness wise-

About two months ago I began tracking macros. I had always eaten intuitively prior to this but after careful consideration I decided it was time to give tracking a shot in order to reach some goals. I hired a coach because I knew I needed some help and accountability. To be quite honest, I just didn’t wanna do it on my own and this ended up being one of the best decisions I've ever made. I am in the process of lean bulking with the main goal obviously being to put on lean muscle. However, I’m really looking to increase my strength and energy, improve my digestion, and normalize my hormones throughout this bulk, which have all already improved tremendously in just a short amount of time. This bulk isn’t really for aesthetic purposes, but more to improve my mind and body. Sure, its cool to see my body change and I love the process but thats not what it's all about for me. I’m still eating whole/nutrient dense foods to fuel my body properly with my fair share of indulgences. Betcha y’all can’t guess what I’ve been treating myself to weekly? Did yah guess Thai food?? Because if you did, YOU RIGHT!!! You know I can’t resist pad thai and spring rolls, omg drooling thinking about it...

Overall, I’ve been having a ton of fun in the gym and really enjoying the change of pace/monthly splits my coach prepares for me based on body comp goals and performance. My body has been reacting very well so far.

School wise-

I am a full time student attending a state college in Florida. I am currently majoring in Elementary Education (I say currently because I don’t know if that’s actually what I want to pursue as of now). I have always grown up dreaming of becoming an elementary school teacher, but now I have some other careers in mind and I’m a little lost when it comes to knowing what I want to do for the rest of my life. Which is TOTALLY fine. I know I don’t have to have it all figured out. But, I am choosing to take a step back and think things through more and figure out what I really want to do before continuing to spend a ton of money on out of state tuition. However, I am planning on studying and taking the test for my CPT certification in the near future, yay!! Choosing to wait until school dies down a bit this semester though so that I can dedicate my time and put my best effort into this!

Life wise-

Life has been pretty hectic and all over the place. I’ve been busy with school x10000, family, friends, gym, & all the other little things! It’s been awesome though. I like staying busy. I like having priorities. I have a great routine, and I’ve been extremely motivated/driven lately. Do I wish there were more hours in a day? Sure do. But, I’m trying to make the most of each day and remain positive even when things get a little out of control and crazy. Overall, just working on balancing everything and becoming my best self. I’m a happy girl who has a whole lot to be thankful and grateful for so I can't complain.

I think that pretty much wraps things up and gives yah a ‘lil rundown on what’s been going on with me. Stay tuned for some exciting stuff in the upcoming months that I have been planning and wanna share with y’all!
